Debra's Story
I was a Canadian & American gold medallist figure skater who taught figure skating in the Windsor area until a few weeks before my first child was born. I was also a highschool teacher with the Windsor public board of education, teaching at Tech, W.D. Lowe, Herman, Shawnee, and Century. ptional, and found that being in the school system and with my own children at home, afforded me this very freedom and has kept me young in spirit. I love to sew, quilt, and knit, so much so that even while I'm watching t.v., my hands are busy at one of them. Recently, I've also become quite enamoured over the whole idea of scrapbooking. We'll see! Unfortunately, I'm too fat and disabled to skate anymore, but I do quite like to swim as my fatness doesn't matter in the water, it just adds to the buoyancy!!!
